Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received a major legal relief after the Supreme Court of India dismissed a petition challenging the approvals granted for the renovation and expansion of Mannat, his iconic sea-facing residence in Mumbai’s Bandra.

Supreme Court Upholds Renovation Approvals

The appeal had questioned the clearance granted by the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority, but authorities associated with the project maintained that all necessary approvals had been secured in accordance with the law.
Expansion Plan Includes Additional Floors
The controversy centers on renovation plans proposed by Gauri Khan, which include adding two extra floors to Mannat’s six-storey annex building.
With the Supreme Court declining to interfere, the expansion project is expected to proceed, subject to compliance with all applicable regulations and approvals.
